Critical Installation Requirements:
- Fluid Specification: Must use Mopar ATF+4 exclusively. Using Dexron, Mercon, or incorrect fluids will cause severe shift flaring, torque converter shudder, and rapid clutch degradation due to incompatible friction modifiers.
- Quick Learn Procedure: After installation, a "Quick Learn" procedure must be performed using a Chrysler wiTECH or equivalent diagnostic scanner. This forces the TCM to relearn the clutch volume indices (CVI) and shift adaptives; skipping this will result in harsh or slipping shifts.
